How do I find out who I was in a previous life? Also, I'm a Gemini who was born with a "veil," or a whitish film, over my face. Does this mean anything to astrologers or psychics?

A: DEAR GEMINI,

A. What wonderful and complicated questions you ask! First, there are a couple of ways you can go about determining who you may have been in a prior life (or lives). You could go to a reputable hypnotherapist who will help you regress through your current lifetime and into previous ones. Or you could buy a self-hypnosis audiotape. Listening to such a tape will put you in a state of receptivity, in which you can tune in to some of your past lives. Astrology can also provide past-life clues. It's a little known fact that the North Node of your astrological chart tells the purpose of your birth, while the South Node points to your most significant former life. Given your specific birthday (not printed here, for the sake of privacy), your North Node is in the sign of Gemini, which means that in this lifetime, you'll express yourself in all forms of communication. Your South Node, however, is in the sign of Sagittarius, which means that your past-life lessons involved overcoming materialism.

Regarding the latter half of your question: Though being born with a "veil" doesn't mean much in the astrological sense, it may indicate that you have special psychic or mystical talents. Tune in to your abilities, my dear; they're waiting to be expressed! If you choose to pursue these innate talents, my advice to you: Don't spread yourself too thin. Learn to meditate and focus and do not scatter your energies.
