Dare to Wear: Jessica Alba
While stars like Jessica Biel and Jennifer Garner were laying on the romance at last night's "Valentine's Day" premiere, Jessica Alba seized the opportunity to channel her inner peacock/flapper in a feathered Proenza Schouler dress.
While I appreciate the flirty nature of the dress (peacock has been on the rise since last spring), its lack of shape and the pairing of those navy and green corked Marc Jacobs platforms look somewhat ammature. Hey, it would make a good Halloween costume.

Red-Carpet Recap: More Romantic "Valentine's Day" Dresses
Well, not all of the dress that were spotted on the stars (and celeb guests) of the new rom-com "Valentine's Day" were lovable.
Julia Roberts' lace Dior LBD is perfect for a quiet date night, while her niece and actress Emma Roberts' youthful Jenny Packham number is ideal for flirting at cocktail parties. And while I just adore the always glowing Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon, her edgier Versace design is best left for the rock-and-rollers.
Jessica Alba was a miss in dark mussed hair, retro platforms and an unflattering A-line Proenza Schouler dress, but Demi Moore made up for it in a fitted Chanel hit. And Rebecca Gayheart, in a sumptuous silk jersey gown that shows off her pregnancy curves, is just as stunning.

Style Showdown: Rihanna vs. Kat DeLuna
I was not expecting this sponge-colored Christian Siriano dress to show up again on the red carpet so quickly (primarily because it's just so distinctive), so when I saw it on Rihanna at the Pepsi Refresh Project Kickoff Party in Miami Beach just weeks after it was worn by Kat DeLuna to the Scott Barnes book launch, I felt a tad giddy.
Both leading ladies manage to pack a lot of personality into the already playful dress, but I prefer Rihanna's nude, strappy sandals over Kat's bowed peep-toes. I'm also falling for her jumbo earrings.
